After more than 18 hours of plane and one stop in Dubai, I finally arrived in Seoul !
This was the first time that I made a so long trip, and this was, as well my first time in Asia. It was exhausted but also very excited : I was looking forward to discover all !
My first impressions when I arrived was a feeling of immensity! Just arrived in Incheon airport, I get this feeling, and it’s amplified when I took the subway to the city center of Seoul. So much people, so much space around them, so much subways and stations, so much cars and buildings but strangely, everything was so quiet and orderly… And it was the same feeling when I arrived at Hanyang University, especially when I realized that the campus is even bigger than my hometown in France !
Differents neighborhood that I have seen.
“Haru Haru” is a Korean expression with various meanings, it can be translate in English by “day by day”, “every day” or also “day after day”.
Linking this meaning and finding it interesting to represent my adventure and especially my days in Seoul I decided to name my blog as it.
I will also make a special section call "Haru Haru", where I will post little articles about some daily Koreans things that I notice.
I’m Ninon, a French student from ESDES Business School in Lyon, France.
If I create this blog today it’s because in less than 3months I’ll fly to Seoul, in South Korea where I’m going to stay for approximately 5 months.
I know, I can’t believe it either …
In Seoul my time will be shared between studying at Hanyang University (one of the numerous partner University of my French school) and discovering all what Korea can brings me.
I cannot wait to go and show you my discoveries, travels, cultural facts, meetings, way of life…
See you soon !
